Information and Complaints Policy
You are obviously able to discuss with me any concerns or issues you may have regarding your child or the care they are receiving. If you do not want to discuss matters in front of your child(ren) a different arrangement can be made, e.g. a meeting set up, formally in writing or via email.
Ofsted require that all complaints are logged along with the outcome and any action taken, and this must be available to show an Ofsted inspector if required.
If you feel your complaint has not been resolved then you can talk in confidence to the National Childminding Association on 0208 464 6164 or contact Ofsted on 0300 123 1231. Any written complaint must be investigated and complainants will be notified of the outcome of the investigation within 20 days. There are guidelines on concerns and complaints on the Ofsted website.
